Simon James Gilpin is a British-born landscape painter currently based in the Yukon Territory in Canada’s far north.  Simon’s work focuses on the various environments that people find themselves in, and how these environments relate to one another.  He paints primarily in oils, and strives to attain a strong sense of light, energy and movement.  His work can be seen in galleries in both Canada and the UK.
